Target Population

Eventure is a mobile platform designed for helping young adults plan hangouts or events with friends in an organized and efficient manner. It would assist in overcoming scheduling challenges across busy schedules while offering a variety of available times and activities in the group’s area.

This application would be helpful in handling both spontaneous and long-term planning, enhancing the social experience for young adults struggling to coordinate hangouts with friends that may have hectic schedules.

Thematic Analysis

Lessons Learned

  • Need for simple yet convenient means of planning via polling options and similar decision making tools

  • Focus on communication methods (i.e. memos/announcement boards) that highlighted key details for a plan or hangout

  • Streamlined, all-in-one platform that minimizes the need for multiple apps that focus on communication, planning, and exploring

    • An all-encompassing application

  • Preference for informal and flexible planning tools that avoided the typical calendar or rigid planning format

  • Emphasis on distance and the need for carpooling tools

  • Correlation of more complex planning when there was a greater distance that needed to be traveled to meet up or when accounting for a larger group of people
